2014 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2014 World Figure Skating Championships will be the World Figure Skating Championships for the 2013–2014 season. They are an annual figure skating competition in which elite figure skaters compete for the title of World Champion.
In June 2011, it was announced that Japan would host the 2014 Worlds, with a decision on the host city, Tokyo or Saitama, to be made at a later date.[1]
Qualification
The event is open to figure skaters from ISU member nations who reach the age of 15 by July 1, 2013. The event will determine the number of entries a country can send to the 2015 Worlds.
